Lazy day
In the sunshine with a glass of beer
It’s the essence of my life down here
Watching Swifts fly in the deep blue sky
With the lingering smell of silage

The sound of chatter rides the silky breeze
The moan of livestock makes the summer scene
My mind drifts back to when I first began to travel the world
Experiencing the world

I love this place
My sanctuary
I call it home
My country heart was out of reach
But now I’m home

Day after day
I forever thank my lucky stars
To breathe the earthy air I breathe
From the heat that rides the gulf stream winds
And the beach is not to far away

Saying ‘Hi’ ‘Hello’, to all the happy folk who feel just the same
A comfy moment explained
